It all started with a conversation with jazz pianist and composer Elliot Galvin – what interesting work can we do where jazz and classical traditions increasingly overlap? After months of hard work and creative thinking, we witnessed four world premieres at London Third Stream on Wednesday 17 November 2021, composed by four stars of the London jazz scene - Shabaka Hutchings, Cassie Kinoshi, Elliot Galvin and Laura Jurd.
Check out some photos and reaction from the night below!

That was fun! Third Stream night at @LondonJazzFest 4 world premieres with @Ldn_Sinfonietta. Enjoyed Cassie Kinochi’s piece & wonderfully eccentric sonorities & fluidity of Elliot Galvin’s Beginning of the Sharpness pic.twitter.com/I4KBD1jJb2
