As we approach the end of another school year, we celebrate all the compositions we've received from schools and hospitals around England! Throughout the academic year, we've seen and listened to over 600 pieces of new music created for London Sinfonietta by young people using Composition Challenges.
What better way to mark the end of term than to showcase some of the submissions we received - check out the selections below!
We received compositions from schools both in and out of London. From Enfield to Waltham Forest, Gloucestershire to Cumbria, we're thrilled young people got their creative juices flowing to create brand new pieces of music.
Here are some recorded performances young composers sent to us of them performing their new musical works!
We want to say a huge thank you to each school that took part and young people for sharing their compositions with us! If you want to get creative music making with Composition Challenges, sign up here.
