FAMILY CONCERT
Introducing kids to composing
Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall, London
Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall, London | Online
Join the London Sinfonietta in our annual live and livestreamed concert for young people, as we explore iconic contemporary classical music and inspire a new generation of composers to get creative. Hear from composers living and working today as they guide you through the building blocks of composition, and gain the tools to give writing music a go for yourself in this participatory concert.
We'll also be performing pieces written by young people as part of our Composition Challenges, an online project supporting composition in the classroom and at home.
The concert is ideal for ages 7-13 (KS2&3) and will last for approximately 50 minutes.
To book for either the live or livestreamed concert please email aoife.allen@londonsinfonietta.org.uk
