TANSY DAVIES: JOLTS AND PULSES

Hear the world premiere of a new work by Tansy Davies, written for the London Sinfonietta with vocalist Elaine Mitchener, and co-commissioned by the London Sinfonietta and Kings Place. Tansy Davies has established herself as a highly individual voice in new music today, with musical constructions built from materials of the recent past – classical, contemporary and rock – fused with influences from art, architecture and ritual. The concert also includes music by two composers to whom Tansy is particularly drawn, Naomi Pinnock and Clara Iannotta.
