Join us online for the third in our new series Sinfonietta Shorts Live on Wednesday 29 April at 3.00pm.
The live-stream will feature Colin Matthews Bell-Wether, an LS short commission supported by Lark Music, written in memory of former principal flute Sebastian Bell, and premiered at the Royal Festival Hall on 24 January 2018. We'll also hear Samantha Fernando Kinesphere an LS short commission premiered at Kings Place on 26 November 2014. These will both be played live by London Sinfonietta Principal Michael Cox.
Both the composers will join us to discuss their work, and questions will be invited from our online audience via chat.
As a new weekly series, Sinfonietta Shorts Live will bring bite-size pieces of new music – commissioned by the London Sinfonietta and performed by its Principal Players – direct to your living rooms every Wednesday at 3.00pm. Future programmes will be announced in due course.
