On Thursday 24 March, we welcomed over 1000 school children to the Royal Festival Hall for the annual Sound Out Schools Concert. Featuring excerpts of a variety of contemporary music, new commissions and compositions submitted by schools, students in the concert hall and online were guided through the foundations of composition with presenter Patrick Bailey.

Composition Challenges - your submissions
Before the concert, schools across the country submitted their own compositions for a chance for them to be performed by London Sinfonietta musicians.
