The Music That Made Me: Hannah Kendall
15 Jan 2020
The profound changes in society over the past two years have also had a deep effect on the London Sinfonietta, not least resulting in the Yet Unheard concert of black composers’ music in October 2020.
These two new podcasts explore the lived-experiences of the black composers and performers involved in that project and working in contemporary music today and how they think the sector could change for the better. Hosted by Jumoké Fashola, the conversation includes interviews with George Lewis, Elaine Mitchener, Hannah Kendall, Leila Adu-Gilmore and Vimbayi Kaziboni.
Follow our Spotify channel as we explore issues affecting contemporary society today as well as peeking behind the scenes into the process of creating art, in the composers' own words.
