Welcome to the Composition Challenges Celebration 2024!
Tune in to hear London Sinfonietta musicians, Simon Haram, saxophonist, and Tamaki Sugimoto, cellist perform a selection of compositions created by young composers all over the country. The series has three parts. Simon and Tamaki’s insights will guide you through the series.

Part 1: Postcard Pieces explore how shapes and colours can be used to create new music.
Part 2: Numbers and Patterns present compositions created through numbers and words. Tune-in to hear some unusual sounds on the Saxophone!
Part 3: Deep Listening. From trucks, birds, trains, trees, our young composers have been listening carefully to all the sounds around them and shared some amazing compositions.
