Policy Statement  

The London Sinfonietta has always sought to challenge the musical status quo and champion change and we want our work to be open to all and reflect the society we live in. We want audiences and participants to experience the power and inspiration of new music, whatever their background or experience. 
 
We will continue to commission and perform new music by living composers whilst championing how composers and musicians can work with the community to engage directly with new audiences. We will invest in digital content so that our work is more accessible to people who can’t attend our live concerts, and tour our work around the country and internationally.   

Our ambition is for the London Sinfonietta to reflect the diversity of the UK population and become an ever more inclusive and welcoming organisation. We are investing resource in making change happen, and have begun to make a shift across the organisation, though we still have more work to do.  More details of where we are now, and what changes we are planning can be found using the links below.
