A World Premiere by Laura Bowler

Southbank Centre's Purcell Room, London

The ensemble are excited to work with Laura Bowler again in a contemporary work charged by the most serious issue of our generation. [Untitled] is a new commission by composer Laura Bowler and librettist Cordelia Lynn for soprano and ensemble, directed by Katie Mitchell. It describes the intimate psychological journey of a woman's response to the Climate Crisis. As a backdrop to the performance, video and audio submissions from members of the public will be played, representing individual responses to the climate crisis.

The Arts Desk described Bowler as “a triple threat composer-performer-provocatrice” following a premiere at Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival.
