As part of the Linbury Theatre re-opening season, we perform alongside The Royal Ballet for a co-curated programme of six world premiere new dance works, each set to contemporary music never before used for dance. This is a unique collaboration and an evening of firsts.
Aletta Collins creates an exciting new work set to music by David Sawer, and Alexander Whitley uses music by Mica Levi. Goyo Montero makes his Royal Opera House debut with specially-commissioned music by Owen Belton. Choreographer and Royal Ballet Soloist Calvin Richardson makes his first work for the Linbury Theatre set to music by Anna Meredith and Principal Character Artist Kristen McNally creates a new work to music by Samantha Fernando.
