Steve Reich: Radio Rewrite - Glasgow

London Sinfonietta round up an evening of minimalist performances as part of the Minimal Festival. Early evening performances include Drumming by Scotland’s own Colin Curry and his band, plus performances from Powerplant/Joby Burgess and Pete Furniss & Alex Harker.

The London Sinfonietta gives the Scottish premiere of Radio Rewrite, a new work from master of minimalism Steve Reich inspired by the music of Radiohead. Reich will also perform Clapping Music.

Radio Rewrite is a co-commission by the London Sinfonietta and New York’s Alarm Will Sound.
